Haircuts, MNO's and More

Well.. Parker actually got his hair cut yesterday! You have to know the back story to appreciate how amazing this is! On his birthday, October 7th.. I decided it would be a great day to get his hair cut. We went to Super Cuts and waited our turn. He played with the toys like he normally does. They called our name and he got in the chair and seemed just fine. Then, she pulled out the scissors and he flipped out like I've never seen him before. He screamed, cried, kicked and tried to jump out of the chair. Finally, I had to hold him down so he wouldn't hurt the poor lady. She ended up having to use the buzzer (don't know the right word LOL) and cut soooo much hair off. After she was done, I let him go and he screamed for her to put his hair back no.. RIGHT NOW!! Oh, he hated it so much. He said he didn't look handsome and that he didn't look like himself. It was so sad.. and this was all on his birthday. Ugh.. talk about draining.
So, yesterday when he actually climbed into the chair and gave me the thumbs up while she did his hair I was soooo happy!! He looks super cute, too :)
On to MNO (Moms Night Out).. I'm so excited about it. A bunch of moms are going to Chili's. I haven't been on a Moms/Ladies night out in years! I'm kind of nervous, though. I'm not the best conversationalist. But, I'm going to try!
Also, my friend Shawna and I have decided to start walking at the outlet mall on Tues/Thurs. I'm really excited to start doing this. I think having a friend to walk with will keep me motivated.
