Spring is Here!!

The weather has been absolutely gorgeous here. The kids have been playing outside every chance that they get. They had some friends over the other day and decorated our tree with Littlest Pet Shop VIP's. I thought it was pretty interesting looking. They are never bored LOL

We are still counting down the days until our trip to Louisiana. Parker calls my mom every single day to tell her everything that they are going to do together on the visit. He is missing her so much!!

Claire the Bumblebee, School Pics, Aubrie's Poem

The kids had a great week. Lots of fun stuff going on.

Claire sang with the first grade class on Thursday night. They sang songs about bugs and her class dressed like bumblebees. It was really cute!!

Parker got his school pics in. They turned out really cute and he's so proud of them. He is loving school and seems to be adjusting really well.

Aubrie and her friend Kaitlyn wrote a poem in their SAGE class that was chosen to go on to the district competition. She's really excited and hopes to win! Good luck Aubrie!!

In other Daigle news.. we booked a cruise for September!! We're so excited. We're leaving from Jacksonville, then we'll stop in Key West and Nassau.

We're also really excited about our trip to Louisiana next month. Our annual day at the Strawberry Festival for Claire's birthday. Then, Brent and I get 2 kid free days in New Orleans!! YIPPEE!!!

Snow!!

Well.. I'm way behind, but last weekend we got snow! The kids loved it and I did, too! We had so much fun playing in it.

Well............

It has been a crazy week and a half. The kids have been so sick. So between holding them,cleaning up after them, taking them to the doctor and making sure they take all of their medicine on time I haven't really had time to update.

I really hope that the worst is over!!

Parker started preschool today. He loved it and says he can't wait to go back. I am so proud of him!! He even made 2 friends today. Girls, of course LOL :)

Oh.. Almost forgot!! HAPPY MARDI GRAS!! Well, I'm a little late I guess.. Happy Lent!! Haha

Since Claire was home sick from school today she helped me make a King Cake for Brent's class. We made them with cinnamon rolls, icing and colored sugar. I think they turned out so cute!!

Tuesday, 2/3/09

Well, not much is going on. I was a little sad that the Cardinal's lost the Superbowl, but it was an awesome game!!

My diet is going awful this week. We ate like crazy people while watching the Superbowl and then we had leftovers. ACK.. I'm afraid to step on the scale Friday.

Aubrie went on a field trip today with her SAGE class to see the King Tut exhibit. She had a blast. Claire was home with me again today after getting sick last night. I thought she might be getting the flu that's been going around, but I think it was a case of too many Cheetos LOL :)

That's about it for us today.

Superbowl XLIII

Go Cardinals!! I'm excited to watch the Superbowl! It's just going to be the family, but we always have fun watching it together.

We have a special place in our heart for the Cardinals because their quarterback is Kurt Warner. He quarterbacked the Rams in their Superbowl win our first year in St. Louis! We had so much fun watching that game way back in 2000.

So, hopefully, I'll be writing tonight about how awesome the Cardinal's did!!

I'm so happy that it's Friday!! Seems like it has been an incredibly long week.

I missed having Brent home with me this week. He was actually out of the house 5 days this week. Yuck! I know I'm lucky to have him home with me so much.. well, I guess I'm really lucky that we get along so well, too!!

We had a PJ party last night with the Moms group. It was so much fun! The girls did not want to leave and neither did I! But, we had spelling tests to study for :( I had a great time getting to know all of the ladies better and the kids played so hard. My friend, Shawna, is a spectacular hostess! I need to get hosting and decorating tips from her.

We don't have much planned for the weekend. The kids are having movie night tonight. They requested their snack menu in advance.. it consist of skittles, popcorn and cookies. Oh, to be a kid again!!!!
